Problems using copy/paste in Excel via RDP from a Chromebook to Windows Desktop

I am using a Chromebook to RDP into a Windows 10 computer that has MS Office installed on it. I cannot copy and paste within Excel. Copy/paste functions properly in other Office products such as MS Word and Publisher. When working directly on the Windows 10 machine in Excel, copy and paste functions correctly.

Through the Chromebook, I cannot copy and paste. I can successfully copy from Word into Excel. I think the problem or part of it is in the copy. When I copy, I do not see the dotted lines around the cell or cells I have highlighted like I normally would.

Any suggestions on how to fix would be greatly appreciated!
