How to document a Linux server?

Hi - I received a new Linux server, and I need to document the systems settings. The information needed is TCP/IP settings, Name of host, version of Linux, Users on system, File Shares, main directory, all software on system? Are there cmds that will provide this information and can you kindly share? Thank you!
