Multiple Monitors on Dell 7200 Two in One
Hello All,
I have user that has a Dell 7200 with a WD19 180w dock. The dock is supposed to be able to connect up to three monitors but this one is having an issue that when I connect the third one two of them get very blurry and everything on the monitors start to shake. Two of the monitors are connected via DP and one is HDMI. I have even tried to connect one via USB C but it still causes two to go blurry. If I connect one to the laptop directly using usb-c then all is fine. But this dock is supposed to allow for three with no problems. Dell has been no help at all. They want to replace the motherboard but that was done around a month ago for a standard usb problem. I have updated all of the drivers and Windows is updated as well. Any thoughts?

We use the dock extensively at my work and running 3 monitors usually does that. We will run two DisplayPort fine, but trying to connect HDMI results in a low res blurry image. I think it's either the limitations of the dock or the onboard video of the laptop. We are using 5300 2n1 notebooks.
What about trying the firmware update for the dock itself — unsure if you were referring to just the laptop drivers?

BIOS update for the laptop perhaps could be tried, but ensure you disable BitLocker then run it and go back to re-enable.
Ctrl+Shift+Win+B keyboard shortcut restarts the graphic driver
Have you examined different display resolution settings?
Unsure if you have hardware acceleration setting in Windows 10 too, not all systems and builds have that though it can create conflicts. Can’t recall the location off the top of my head.

FYI - I have tried the WD19TB connected via either Thunderbolt or USB-C and it doesn't work well with 3 monitors, either.
