Recycle Bin file recovery
Running Windows 7 Professional 64-bit, I emptied the Recycle Bin around twelve hours ago. I'm trying to recover a pdf file which was in the Recycle Bin. I've tried Recuva and EaseUS Data Recovery Wizard, and neither of them found the file. Is there a more sensitive application for this purpose?
A Backup you did shortly before?
i always use GDB - try it for free - it will show what it can recover : http://www.runtime.org/
I use https://www.lsoft.net/undelete/ when I needed it, it recover 100% of the files. Don't do any work, sync emails, ...anything at all as you risk overwriting any data on HD.

Thanks to all Experts. The notebook is HP Envy 17-250CA, which may have a solid state disc. However, the undelete applications which I have tried so far have found hundreds of thousands of deleted files. GDB did not recover the file, and I will try the lsoft application.
keep us posted , plse !

I ran lsoft's application, selecting for .pdf files. During the scan, hundreds of deleted pdf files were identified. I needed to register the software to recover them, but not a single pdf file appeared in the recovered files! The top recommended SSD recovery software in Nobus' link is Recoverit, but I already tried that without success. I appreciate everyone's good suggestions, but I need to abandon this project and move on to other priorities!
ok - but don't forget to close this q

The HDD in my notebook is a Toshiba SSD, and I think the data in an empty Recycle Bin is largely unrecoverable. I tried EaseUs Data Recovery Wizard, Lsoft Undelete, Recoverit, GetDataBack, IsoBuster and Recuva. These applications were either installed on a different partition, or else the recovery target was an external USB drive. Sometimes hundreds of pdf files were found during the scan, but none of them appeared in the recovery target. Thanks to everyone for a good effort!
