Which is better: iCloud or Google Photos?

My customer has a new PC.  She also has an iPhone.  She wants to synchronize her photos between her iPhone and her PC.

Should I recommend the Apple solution or the Google solution?

Any links to a great tutorial on "the best" solution will be appreciated.

Thanks

P.S.  What do you think of this review?

If I consider the PC is a Windows and not a Mac I'd still suggest the Apple solution since there's an iPhone involved.

I was worried that might be the case.
Look at the terms of use, and privacy policy.
arnold:  Thanks for your suggestion.  I have downloaded the Terms of Use for both Google Photos and iCloud.

Is there anything in particular that you wanted me to notice?
Are you sharing also, or just backing up?  If it's just backing up, then iCloud is easiest for an iPhone.

If you're sharing, then you need to consider the platforms the user's friends use.  You can really use any site to upload or save photos to, but some may need extra steps.
Mostly backing up.  But I hear your point about considering my friends.  Thanks
Thank you very much serialband, arnold and strivoli.

I ended up choosing Google Photos because I'm more a PC user myself.  Even though I had two votes for iCloud.
