Move RAID from ML350 G5 to another ML350 G5
The ML350 G5 (call it OLD) doesn't turn ON anymore. It has 8 HDDs in RAID 5 + 1 Spare. I have another ML350 G5 (call it NEW) that does turn ON but HDDs aren't the same size. I was thinking about removing all HDDs from NEW and put the HDDs from OLD to the NEW. Will I loose the Array configuration and as a result the Logical Disks? The RAID CTRL is the same but RAID config is different.

Just connect the HDD in the same sequence in the new server will do the job.
If you are too much worried you can remove the RAID controller with cache and connect in the new server.
Make sure battery also connected.

If you are too much worried you can remove the RAID controller with cache and connect in the new server.I'll consider that too. I ask the same question to you too considering I'll move the RAID CTRL from OLD to NEW:
Should I clear the RAID Config on the NEW before removing the HDDs (and the RAID CTRL) from the NEW and inserting the OLD HDDs (and the RAID CTRL) into the NEW?
Clearing the config on the new box just wipes the config from the disks in it. Nothing is stored on the controller except disk cache. As MAS mentions you should really transfer the cache with battery connected along with the disks to preserve the cache contents.

In fact it is not required. The HDD will save the new config in the cache.
I recommend you to move the cache from old server to the new server.

I've cleared the config, moved the Cache and the Disks from OLD to NEW and everything went fine. Thanks.
