Which service or services good for web hosting, development?
I am looking for a service to help build a website but with so many services, I don't know which one to use. More looking for an e-commerce site for small-medium size business.
Hi,
You can start using share hosting an later switch to cloud or dedicated server.
I would recommend Siteground https://www.siteground.com/
Select the Ecommerce plateform based on your needs, budget and knowlegde.

I would recommend you to make an analysis of your needs.
What kind of products: digitals / physical
Which payment gateway: Paypal etc
Which shipping service.
Do you have specials needs : reservation, appointment, customized product like t-shirt
Do a complete schema of product options (how does the prices is calcultated)
and attributes (size, colors, etc).
Do you need coupon, rebates etc.
I use Opencart in the past but I would not recommend for now because the latest version have major bugs and template system is very limited even premium theme are not very good compared to other system.
I would use Woocommerce instead, because it have a lot more help by the community and more extensions.
I was very supprised about what is already included and ready to use compare to the latest Opencart version.
When you download and host opensource system like these you may need to make maintenance often and may need need to hire a dev to do custom code.
Using online service to start could be a better idea to test the market, depending of quantity of product and your knowledge.
