USB HDMI single video port, extended display capability
I want to give a desktop computer the ability to extend the windows desktop to use two displays in a way that allows the dragging of items from one display to the other.
This item says that it will do that but there is only one physical output port. Will it support this kind of extending?
This one has an excellent price of only $15

I feel like I am missing something here.

If your desktop has two ports, which could be HDMI and VGA (or two of any), then you can use two screens.

Quality is not needed. This one is an Optiplex 960 and appears to have a VGA, Display Port, and an eSata port all in-line with eachother.
That's a seriously old PC. They also have available a DVI board that plugs into PCIe but uses the onboard video. We used those for dual monitors when we had 960s. $15 is about the maximum would put into that box.
