Troubleshooting Question

JavaScript: Detect When Link Is Clicked using Listener.

Last Modified: 2021-01-11
I have a series of elements structured like so:
<div class="account-name"><a data-bind="text: name, attr: { href: nameUrl }" href="/BOW/Accounts/PMMActivity.aspx?index=7">PRIVATE BANKING ILOC</a></div>
What I want to do is when clicked, capture the text value (e.g. "PRIVATE BANKING ILOC") in the href. All elements use the same structure and class. I can't change the mark-up of the page, I can only inject my code via Tag Management System. So I'm assuming I'l need a listener etc. FYI... the listener needs to be able to be enabled/disabled due to it being a SPA. JavaScript only, must be IE 11 compatible. No jQuery Please.
