I need a powerful desktop computer for my work. Please help me pick one!
Hello, I need to buy a desktop for my work. I work in a warehouse and need a new computer, but there is so many different specs that I have no clue what type to buy. So I am asking for sugestions. FYI- I am from the USA (computer needs to be able to be shipped to the USA).
PRICE POINT- money is not an option and I would rather pay more money and get a nice system that is very fast and reliable rather then getting a low price system that may run slower. But I don't want to waste money on upgrades that are not needed (for example we dont need a gaming graphics card).
BRANDS- In the past I would typically buy HP or Lenovo, but I am open to other brands as well.
TASKS- The computer needs to be capable of handling at least 50 tabs on chrome. Our current computer (maybe 6 years old) goes slow if we have 25 tabs open and then if the tabs are opened too fast they make chrome crash.
SPACE- We dont need a lot of hard drive space
PROCESSOR- I would say maybe an I7 or higher for the processor.
VIDEO- I would like to connect 2 monitors so it would need 2 video ports or an expansion card. But we dont do gaming on it or anything, so we dont need an over the end video card.
I found a refurbished one on walmart from a third party seller for $378. And I found a new one at a local retail store that has a new one for $855. is any of these a good pick?
walmart: $378

Best buy retail store: $855

My question is what one is the best bang for the buck so to say? Does anyone know of another model that would be better for my needs?
For example both the systems above have an I7 processor but the refurbished one is 4 cores, the new one is 8 cores. Is the 8 core a noticeable upgrade? (I did compare both of the processors here- the new one is rated 7/1276 and the refurb is rated 191/1276. : https://cpu.userbenchmark.com/Compare/Intel-Core-i7-10700K-vs-Intel-Core-i7-4770/4070vs1978
Since I am not doing any gaming, would I even notice a difference between the 4 and 8 cores?
Any advise is much appreciated!

Apple system are vanity status symbols. Never recommend them, unless it's for specific software that only runs on Mac. If the CEO wants it, nothing you can do but support it.

thank you all for your help! I went with the Lenovo that fred hakim posted!
I have a fairly recent iMac + only time fan ever kicks on is when running ffmpeg for HEVC video compression.
These days for Desktop machines I use 32G of RAM (minimum) with SSD drives (quiet, cool, low power requirements).
