Using Windows Media Player to burn CD - track sequence issue and "best" alternative burn programs.
Friend uses WMP to burn CD's. No copyright issue since he wrote the songs and has them copy righted, he wanted copies to keep in his car.
When we open WMP and click burn and it ask for a disc and once we reach that point it ask for the file (folder) to be dragged into the window.
In the music folder the folder with 9 songs were sorted using the sort menu to put them in order tracks 1 through 9. When the file is opened in WMP it has the tracks out of order. We have to move up and move down to get them in the correct order. Why is that happening and any modern day free burn programs that are more friendly.
