VM lose connection to physical port

Please see the below. Why usb-nic lost connection to VM suddenly? The physical port is there. I tried several times to connect it, but failed. Anyone can give some suggestion? Thank you very much.

Because USB network interfaces are not supported.

Only network interfaces on the Hardware Compatibility List are supported.

It looks like vSwitch issue. Whenever I try to add Uplink to the vSwitch, error message would popup. Then I try to add a new switch without NIC, the similar error message pop up. Please see the below screen:
