Help with autocomplete in Outlook 2019

My goal is to have an autocomplete file in Outlook 2019.

Is there a way to move an autocomplete file from WLM to Outlook 2019?

I saw info online saying that there IS no autocomplete file in WLM, and when you start a new email in WLM the addresses that pop up are based on the contents of the contact file.  Is that correct?

If it is, then is there a way to do that same thing in Outlook 2019--pop up email addresses based on what is in the contact file?

If none of the above are viable, is there a way to create the autocomplete file in Outlook 2019 based on the contact file in Outlook 2019?

Overall, what is the best way to get autocomplete working for a new install of Outlook 2019?  TIA

Lisa,

Are you saying that you will have to key in each email address once so it can save it in the new autocomplete file?  And are you saying this is the only way to build the new file?

Elie,

I see at this link instructions for moving email and contacts from WLM to Outlook--which I've already done as explained--but I don't see anything about a way to create the autocomplete file in Outlook.  If there IS something about that at this link, please provide details because I don't see it anywhere.
That's one way to make it from your exported contacts yes. I help clients do this when their autocomplete is gone.

So is the easiest way to do it?  I know when moving from Outlook to Outlook on a new computer you can (or could) bring over the .nk2 file.  Can I do anything like that coming from WLM, or is this method the best and maybe only way to go?
Nk2 you can edit with NK2 editor, you can google for it, works great! I didn't think you had a Nk2 file.

That's what I'm trying to confirm: does Windows Live Mail have an autocomplete file I can move over?  If so, what is its name and where do I find it?

Comments online say that WLM does not have such a thing.  Is that correct?  For sure?
Not that I know of.
