Can someone explain what this script is doing?

hi guys,

I'm trying to understand how this code works:

var myip;
myip = myIpAddressEx();
var myarray;
myarray = myip.split(";");
var j = myarray.length;
var i = 0;
for (i = 0;i<j; i++){
if (isInNetEx (myarray [i], "xxx.xxx.0.0/16") ||
    isInNetEx (myarray [i], "xxx.xxx.xxx.0/24"))
    return "PROXY proxy.example.ca:80";

For example, I understand that the myIpAddressEx() function is supposed to return the list of IPv4 and IPv6 addresses on your machine. But if someone could explain what is happening at each stage, such as what is happening when it says 'myip.split' and then later on 'myarray[i]'?.

Thank you
