Half height basic PCIe graphic card recommendation

Hi,
I have a small case I'm trying to find a basic hdmi graphic video card for.  The issue is it needs a half height card--and bracket.
About the most it will be asked to do is play YouTube videos and Solitaire. :)

Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Check the motherboard maximum voltage rating for the card slot and the PSU.

Commercially built SFF boxes usually have PSUs that are already close to their limit for voltage

My usual check is to see if the machine was originally provided with a discreet graphics card option and look at the specs of the card the manufacturer was offering.

This m/b has a VGA connection on the back, but no HDMI.  I now need the latter for a particular monitor.
The PSU isn't a problem as it only drives the m/b and a single SSD drive.  I could measure it but I doubt the power consumption is even half consumed.  Had a RAID card in it with 4 spinning drives before I took them out.

This is a Supermicro SYS-5028D m/b if that helps.

Agreed, more graphic power than you really need but it's a reliable card. Nice server BTW, Pop into your Slot 7, should automatically set up and disable the onboard but there is a jumper on the board to manually do this.

nVidia GeForce GT 710

You can actually get some pretty powerful cards to fit as the slot supports up to PCI-E 3.0

Conversely you can pick up a used GT, nVidia Quadro or other low profile card on eBay for minimal $$ as there's not a big market for them .
The MSI card might work but the bracket needs to be low-profile as well. I think half-height.  I'll have to go measure the slot height to be certain.
It is both heights.
They include a half-height bracket in with it?  Unless I'm mis-judging the image, it has 3 ports on the bracket.  I just returned one that had a similar layout as it was too high.

Just measured a bracket from the raid card that used to be in that slot.  3 3/16" tall.
It includes half-height. When using the half-height it becomes a 2 brackets.
Well isn't that clever.  Will grab one.  Thanks much!

Picked one up and installed it with the half-height bracket.  Dang, was that a tight fit in this case!  Got it in though.
One little oddity--I'm not sure the card is actually driving the monitor.  I have to plug in the RGB video cable into the original motherboard to see the machine boot up and even after Windows 10 finishes booting, the RGB card is needed.  I plugged the RGB cable in to the m/b and the HDMI cable into the NVidia card.  Driver and management app is loaded.  But if I unplug the RGB cable, the video drops.

Why not use the RGB connection that comes with the card?  This m/b is a micro-atx board with only one PCI-e slot. No place to put it.

Any ideas what might be happening?  I saw nothing in the BIOS that related to the video.

I can pose this as a new question if desired.

In BIOS locate
VGA Priority

change from [Onboard] to [Offboard]
Man, was that option ever buried. :)  Thanks much!
