Microsoft SQL Server 2008 R2 Report Builder R3 " SSRS - Visible Header Row While Scrolling " Setting FixedData = TRUE
After viewing this short video I noticed that the video shows a static section under the Row Group. If I do not have a Group in my report but do have details. Is there a way to create that static section so I can see if I can set the same functionality in my reports so users will have an easier time of looking at the data in multiple columns.
The following steps show to to create a static section but I am not sure if it is exactly what I need
SQL Server Reporting Services
1. Create a data set to get the required data for the matrix.
2. Drag a matrix object on the report body.
3. Add the number of required rows to outside the row group (This is the main trick for creating the static rows in the matrix)
4. Delete the row group detail row from the matrix
5. Add the labels to the row lines headers, add the column group values and data values in the matrix
6. Run the Report and your Matrix is ready with Static Rows!

My report does not have one do I have to create a group even if I do not need one because it may affect the look of the report.
Does anyone know the best way to get the results as stated in the title. What am I doing wrong or missing here. Is this even possible in 2008 R2? This would be invaluable on all my future reports.
