When changing SQL server 2017 enterprise edition license model

Last Modified: 2021-02-22

I found out that SQL server 2017 only use 20 core on the primary replica in AG, as it is a Server + CAL model so by design it only use 20 Cores!

and I read this :

We need installation media for it and do you know if changing SQL server license key need rebooting the SQL server?
should I just need to do it on one of the AG node only ?

and MUST I do it in passive node in secondary replica in AG only ?

is there any perfmon counter to see how heathy is the AG replication between primary and secondary replica ?
