.local domain migration
Hi Experts,
We currently run a .local domain. We will very shortly be looking at adopting O365 on a wider scale. We have access to the company.co.uk domain. What are the steps to move the domain from a company.local to a company.co.uk without breaking too much.
Thankyou
Paul

Furthermore you will not get an additional benefit if you rename the domain to whatever you like.

Thanks everyone, UPN suffix it is then.

Cool, if we go full 0365 for emails as well (eventually we will be doing), will the UPN solution still work? In your opinion is adding the UPN suffix a better option than renaming the .local domain. Sorry if this is a silly question, but could we migrate from the .local to .co.uk. ie setup the company.co.uk domain. Setup trusts between the two and move everyone over? How would exchange handle this?
Cheers,
Paul
