Linux Tableau Upgrade - which user account

I need to upgrade our Tableau server version from 2019.4 to 2020.4 running on an AWS EC2 Amazon Linux 2 via terminal
Default user is ec2-user and I also noticed another user called tableau As which user should I run the upgrade? Does it matter if both are part of the wheel group and if any previous upgrades was done with the tableau user?

Likely you'll run your update as root.

And...

Tableau docs aren't clear about this, so for a definitive answer, open a support ticket with Tableau development.

Note: If by update you mean using APT to install a package update, you'll almost surely require doing this as root.

You can become root using sudo.
