Looking for suggestions in creating a calendar-based workflow

I have been asked to create a "site" with a calendar that has time slots that users can reserve. A user would select from one of the available date/time slots, and would enter their name, email, and cell number. The site would then email a confirmation to the user, and email the user's information to an email address coded into the selected time slot.

Is this something that can be done with a SharePoint calendar? I am not averse to scripting where necessary. While I could create a custom website with a SharePoint (or some other database) back end, I'm hoping that there may already be something out there that I can leverage. Would I be able to accomplish the above with Microsoft Teams? All suggestions welcomed.  Thanks.
