Without more information regarding the Email servers configuration, I can only go by your current description<br />
<br />
By the sounds of it, unless you're authenticating using something other than usernam/password, the mail server isn't requiring authentication which isn't good. <br />

If this is the case IMO you should shut down SMTP services until you get it resolved

I have a server I use with WHM I set my emails to be sent via SMTP. User and passord. Now I realize that the password is irrelevant. what ever passoword I use emails are sent and delivered.<br>I discoverd this by mistake<br>Any ideas?
