Need a 4TB GPT in AWS

I created an EC2 with a 4TB secondary drive. It told me i needed to make it a GPT before i can use it. How do i convert that drive to GPT?

Aside: Wow... best read the EE discussions about "AWS Surprise Billing", as having 4TB allocated can produce massive surprise bills.

Just depends on how this data is accessed.

If your cost is >$80/month USD, consider leasing an OVH box with 8TB (4TB RAID1) storage.

Yes, this is our DR location and we have a large company drive that's used for production. Quite large, but i'll look into your advice. Thank you. I'll do this today and check back with you.
Sigh... the other problem with AWS...

You just never know what Amazon is doing with your data.

I prefer OVH, because they're a Provisioning Company (not Hosting Company).

Amazon's business model is steal... er I mean harvest... your data, then use it against your + sell it off to anyone else who'd like to hold you by your ankles + shake you, to see how much money falls out of your pockets.

Provisioners, like OVH, provide bare metal servers... No OS installed... No data harvested + sold...

Just bare metal servers. Period. Then you're on your own to do OS installations + admin.

Similar to AWS, just no data theft... er, I mean harvesting...
If I had to use AWS for anything. (Likely I never would.)

I'd encrypt every shred of data, so I knew for a fact no one could use my data.
