Why Remote Desktop Licensing service stopped on KMS Server
Today we have been reported that Remote Desktop Licensing service is not running so user are not able to connect through Citrix console ?
When checked ..found
Was stooped on KMS Server almost 7 days before but Issue Reported Today ?
As citrix servers were getting RDS license from this KMS Server so is there time frame RDS is required to provide license like issue reported after 7 days?
Please advise how to dig more into the reason why service stopped on my KMS Server ie Window 2016 Server.
Also Please help if we can configure redundancy for KMs Server like to use multiple KMS Server for licensing to be resumed in worst case
Thanks!!

KMS and RDS have absolutely nothing in common or even know about each other on the server
ASKER
RDS Licensing is coming from KMS Server [Windows 2016] where this RDS is stopped
Don't repeat yourself, or I will repeat myself as well.
RDP licensing manager and KMS are totally separate services. They do not interact with each other.
It is like notepad and excel.

my point is that it doesn't matter.
You are being rather short and unhelpful, all told. All you have brought to this discussion is repeatedly saying the same thing - you made your point very early on! No, KMS and RDS Licensing are not related but clearly in this case both roles appear to be installed on the same server. Independently.
Perhaps if we try to concentrate on the problem rather than nit picking?

are you using device or user CALS?
if using KMS the O/s needs to get a key every 180 days or it will report as unlicensed.
try
dism /online /cleanup-image /restorehealth
followed by
sfc /scannow
and restart the server
