MS Access Inconsistent State. Applying Registry Hack Applied to Each PC

Hello Team
My apologies for posting yet another question relating to the ongoing MS Access Inconsistency error.

I have a split MS Access database with the backend stored in network server.

The users have their frontend copy stored on the desktop of Windows 10 and are operating on Citrix.

Taking these software elements into consideration, I am unsure how reliable it would be to apply the current Microsoft workaround of:

REG ADD HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\lanmanserver\parameters /v DisableLeasing /t REG_DWORD /d 1 /f

I am just concerned about applying this to the network in case it creates additional issues elsewhere and to be honest, IT will be very hesitant (as usual)  to implement such changes.

I have also came across then alternative workaround of applying the PC registry hack, whereby the registry settings are changed on each individual PC so that there is no impact at a Network/Server level.

Windows Registry Editor Version 5.00 [HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\LanmanWorkstation\Parameters] "FileInfoCacheLifetime"=dword:00000000 "FileNotFoundCacheLifetime"=dword:00000000 "DirectoryCacheLifetime"=dword:00000000
Can anyone advise if the individual PC hack is a viable option and if there are any known drawbacks or impacts to the individual PC when applied?

If it is a viable option, can anyone also advise they best way to apply this change to the individual PCs?

As always...any advise is much appreciated.
