Windows Photo App Printing not working

We have Windows 10 20H2 deployed with MSDT and on all clients the windows photos app is not printing. The print dialog is not appearing, it just flickers once and that's it.

We've already tried to reinstall, repair and reset the app - nothing is working.
SFC and DISM are not repairing or finding any resource problems.

The printers are both available and printable at Settings and Control Panel view.
For tests we also installed the printers locally instead of print server.

Is there any log for the app? I didn't find it in EventVwr.
Many customers are reporting this issue and you'll find nearly 100 million of entries while a google search - none of them provides a working solution.

Hopefully you can tell me how this print dialog works and how to fix it.

In EDGE or CHROME for example the printing dialogues are working.

Thanks for your support.

What about the keyboard shortcut Ctrl + P?
You may want to also look into researching Powershell commands for re-registering or installing the Photos app again. I am not aware of the command line off the top of my head.
There are multiple reasons:
1. Issues with Photo App
2. Default App Settings
3. Error (Run Troubleshooter)
4. Printer Configuration Issue

Solutions:
1. Try Different App
2. Change Default App Settings
3. Run Troubleshooter
4. Check Printer Configuration

In the control panel, select printer as the default, then retry to print by windows photo app

Standard-Printer is already set.

This seems to be an issue with fresh 20H2 installations, upgrades from 2004 don't loose the print option.
Just tested at one site.

The fresh installed all have this issue, the just upgraded not.
Both with the same users and gpo's tested.
Maybe see if you can install and use ProcessMonitor aka ProcMon for logging and troubleshooting further. There may be access denied or other error events spotted there. Capture the logs when you try to print from the Photos app since Event Viewer didn’t help.

Have you tested under a new user profile or another account on the stations?

Otherwise may need to try opening a case with Microsoft support and report it.
It has something to do with 2021, 9 March Security Updates or any before.

These updates are responsible for the problems with printing and Windows PhotoViewer.

I already find the responsible update for white bar printing with photo viewer, but not the print dialogue in photos app.

With the upgrade to 21H1 case is closed.
Thanks
