kb5000808 causing printing problems (BSOD) with kyocera printer

we have the problem with the microsoft update kb5000808 which causes the BSOD and a reboot when printing to kyocera printers.

I cannot find a way to remove it as the uninstall option is not available form the installed updates screen.

I have also tried the powershell command "wusa /uninstall /kb:5000808" but it tells me that this update is required by the OS and cannot be removed.

I have already removed this once from this computer, which solved the problem, but it has downloaded again and this time cant remove it.
I have disabled the automatic downloads now, as it looks like microsoft still have not fixed this error, but how do I get rid of the update causing the problem.

Any advice very much appreciated.
