asked on

conferencing all in one system

New to the world of video conferencing.  I am looking to put a TV in our conference room and connect a camera to it with speakerphone and connect all of it to my laptop.  We use GOTOMEETING to conduct meetings.  The question is this. Are there any systems that have a way of connecting my laptop wirelessly to the TV so I don't have to connect any cables to my laptop?  Not sure if I'm asking the right questions.  I want to sit down with my laptop and wirelessly share my screen to the TV and the run the GOTOMEETING meeting on it with sound and video coming from the TV and the participants can see those in the conference room with the connected camera.  I own a LOGITECH meetup camera right now.

So I need to purchase Chromcast app for 29.99 and then a TV that will work with it and a Chromecast device to connect to the TV?

or can it be any TV that has an HDMI port?

Any TV with HDMI (though preferably Full HD or 4K)
But the camera has to be run through a USB port to my computer still, is that right?  I'm assuming you cannot run high quality video wirelessly

I already told you to full test your laptop first. Then add the Chromecast.
By following those rules, you arleady know the camera is still on the USB port of your computer.
Depending on your WiFi signal strength and bandwidth, the video quality can be HIGH quality.
I was asking a question that would lead to another question. Sorry I wasn't clear.  I had flashbacks of my mother telling me "I already told you"
