WORD, office 2016 - align objects to center - quick access tool bar
hi experts, i have added the "align objects center" to the quick access toolbar, but it is disabled & wont allow me to use it. How do i enable this please?
To enable that, at least 2 objects must be selected.

hi, i dont follow..?
That command will be disabled if less than 2 objects are selected. Draw 2 shapes, select both, then see if the command becomes enabled.

im not drawing shapes, im inserting a table into my word doc & need to vertical align the text in the table
The answer is in the program already. Create a table, select the text in a row. Does the Shape Format or Picture Format (both are home to the Align command) tabs appear? No, because the Align commands do not apply to table text.
What does appear are the Table Design and Layout tabs. On the Layout tab is the Alignment group, where you can set the vertical and horizontal alignment of table text. Those are the buttons you want to add to your QAT.
