Check your cache settings in the browser and reduce it from 250mb to 50 if space is the issue.<br />

Check whether windows10 just upgraded which would reflect a consumption of around 6GB until 10-15 days later where the space (Windows.old) will be released.<br />

You could run the cleaner and gave it suggest deletions from temp, etc.<br />

Slowing down how? Do you have access elsewhere to a newer faster system?<br />
Spec of system as it exists?<br />
Use?<br />
System support m.2 storage?<br />
Existing storage HDD or SSD?<br />
Memory versus max supported?

Brian, as you can see, slowing down can have a lot of origins<br>so we need more info on specs, to help you<br>post the disk model ( find it in device manager) and post the free space also + system model<br>you can also post screenshots of performance monitor when the system slows down<br>you may need to upgrade the disk, or RAM<br>also - are you sure there are no virus on the system ? - do an AV scan to start with<br><br>BUT - all these trouble shooting steps may take several days - which can also be used for a BACKUP + FRESH install ( i know - a lot of work) - but htis is one of the best, guaranteed solutions

One reason for slowdowns is also the large number of apps that insist on running an update checker app constantly in the background... Every one of these takes some resources...<br>Go thru your startup apps screen and see how many things don't need to run at startup.<br><br>
