emails with attachments not showing in outlook 2016 sent items folder

User with POP account with Outlook 2016 is not seeing emails that were sent in the sent items folder.  performing an advanced search displays these emails, they are not displayed when clicking on ‘Sent Items’.

To add....Since the emails appear in the ‘Advanced Find’, and the ’Advanced Find’ indicates they are in the ‘Sent Items’ folder, why can’t I see them when clicking into the ‘Sent Items‘ folder?

Had already fixed the problem as user had made changes to view.  So your answer is correct and I will mark it as the solution.  Outlook profile did not need recreated, and search index was fine.
