Copy Paste Values in a Filtered Column - Office Excel 365

Experts: Need assistance with a filtered  column of data, using a Subtotal formula to provide sequential numbering of the filtered data. It seems Office 365 provides challenges in Copying and Pasting the Subtotal formulas as Values within the sequential column. Even with just a 6-8 rows of data, filter to three or four rows and attempting to copy/paste the formula values back to a specific column. Several references have been tried but not successful, with either VBA, or formulas,...it seems to be specific to Excel 365. Has anyone ever accomplished this with this latest version.  Formulas, or VBA, solutions are fine....

I don't have that Excel version available but maybe if you can post a (redacted) example Excel file other experts could try and help you.

I'm going to close this question....found a very simple solution after all.  After setting up the sequential numbering with Subtotal...just turn off automatic calculations, remove the filter, then copy / paste values as one would normally perform. It's easier and faster than probably most other solutions.
