Greetings wise wizards of EE:<br><br>I'm helping a friend who shares Quickbooks as the host with one other computer. For reasons unknown, her machine keeps connecting to the network via a "VEthernet" adapter in the Network Adapter settings. Once I remove/disable them, her IP address changes back to normal.<br><br>However, they keep re-asserting themselves. I have tried disabling/uninstalling them in both the Device Manager and in Network Adapter settings, and they keep coming back. I don't even know they are used for, but they are annoying as hell. I want them gone forever. <br><br>I've also looked in the Windows 10 Features and "Hyper V" is NOT checked. I've checked it and unchecked it just in case that would jar them loose. <br><br>Please help me eliminate them with extreme prejudice. <br><br>Many thanks in advance,<br><br>Zovoth
