Office Home & Business 2019 check for updates never finds any updates
Windows 10 Pro (v20H2 I believe), with Office 2019 Home & Business. Windows updates are set to check for MS software, and has never installed an update to this date. I have run the online repair of Office and no help. Office works most of the time, but I have had to do online repairs a couple of times to fix "Document not saved". Which is why this time I noticed the build is still from Sep 2018. I have done check for updates in Office programs and they say up to date. When I compare the About information is when I saw it never updates. I have run the troubleshooter on Windows updates also. Nothing else is wrong with any software on the computer. This computer is identical setup (Software & Hardware) to 2 other laptops which have never had a problem and properly update.
You should see channel of One-Time Purchase for the Office 2019 which will never get an update.
Why?
Office 2019 is a one-time purchase that comes with classic apps like Word, Excel, and PowerPoint for PC or Mac, and does not include any of the services that come with a Microsoft 365 subscription. One-time purchases don’t have an upgrade option, which means if you plan to upgrade to the next major release, you'll have to buy it at full price.
You will only get security updates and not feature updates like the Microsoft 365 apps which come with a monthly or annual subscription. You Office 2019 Home and Business will get a new Build number if a feature update is installed.

Any difference on the update channels for all three computers?

Home & Business 2019 v16.0.13929.20222 It does NOT show One-Time Purchase > it shows About Excel (Or whichever program).

v16.0.13929.20222 indicates that it is a mobile app version for Android which is downloaded from Google Play App Store, not Office 2019 Home and Business.
Can you post a screenshot to show the version number with the wording of Office 2019 Home and Business?
In Windows search, search for Word 2019. Run it and lookup the version number.
Original install was using default, which is 32-bit. Reinstall with 32-bit had same problems. Reinstall with 64-bit works and updates! However, this user runs many programs that integrate with Excel and might require the 32-bit version. Will find out on Monday when end user returns. Note: The install version of 64-bit was still v16.0.13929.20222. After updates it is now current version. Still wondering if the SSD (Samsung Pro 970 NVMe 512GB) factory installed from Lenovo is corrupting data. Remember the SFC running and restarting fixes the problem temporarily every time. A reboot alone will never fix the problem. Please add any thoughts.
You are correct on Version 2104 (That is why I showed both numbers on the problem laptop). I cannot explain why they didn't align with updates, but no updates ever installed or were shown in update history.
