ESXi 7.0 Multi NiC ISCSI an NFS
When setting up a VMkernel adapter for NFS with two nic's, should both be set to active? Also for iSCSI, should you bind the software iSCSI adapter to the VMkernel adapter before you add the VMkernel adapter to the switch or does it matter?

Thank you for the fast reply. Its been a while since I added two nic's for ISCSI and have been reading up on it. Basically you will have both vmkernel's for iSCSI in one switch, but one of the adapters in each port group will be listed in unused, then switch the other for the other adapter correct?

also beware of situations when to use or not to use port binding

iSCSI subnets and paths on your storage depends of your storage array hardware/model/version and storage vendor's best practices...
As for iSCSI it does not matter, but we always bind first.
