asked on WebBrowser cannot run video VB.NET
Hello EE,
I am trying to run videos on vb.net, I tried with WebBrowser, but it does not work well. Then I red more about what is called CefSharp .. ? I tried that, but somehow the video wont run. apparently because of codec issue ?
I red more that apparently, we need to install our own Build of Chromium on computer to make it work, anyway, bottom line is, it seems super hard to run videos on vb.net from a web site.
is there anyway someone actually done this that can help me ?

Videos always require a 'player'. Videos from sites like Youtube and Vimeo load their own video players in the web browsers. Straight MP4s will play in Windows Media Player and others. Firefox and Chrome will play them also. MOVs are for Apple Quicktime although some other players will play them too.
