Issue with Lenovo X1 Nano

I'm having a miserable time with my new X1 Nano.  It's got some sort of proximity sensor such that if it doesn't see me in front of it for 1 minute (maybe even less) it locks the laptop and goes to a black screen.  This means that if I go across the room to grab a book or down the hall (20 feet) to get some more ice or anything I have to unlock this stupid thing again and again (perhaps a dozen or more times each day).  All the normal settings (like in Power options and screen saver and such) are set to 10 minutes.  This is entirely something new.  I need to find a way to disable this or at least crank it up to a 5 minute time out.  One minute or less is absurd.

Could it be linked to a cellphone via bluetooth?

Thanks.  It was what the manual described.  Not exactly where the manual said to find the setting, but close enough for me to find by hunt and peck around.
