Thanks for the responses. &nbsp; What I found is that when I had applied AD Administrators Group rights to a folder that server was a DC. &nbsp;The server I'm working on today is not a DC. &nbsp;Both of the answers pointed me in the direction I needed to go and figure it out. &nbsp; Thanks again!!

I am trying to assign the AD builtin administrators group rights to a specific folder/share. &nbsp; I have done this in the past (older 2008 &amp; 2012 servers). &nbsp;I'm working on a 2016 server now and the builtin administrators group in the AD is not available. &nbsp;What am I missing? &nbsp;
