Cannot see typing in Outlook.exe

I work off of a computer and a Surface. All of a sudden, about one hour ago, I cannot see text when typing in the Outlook.exe (365) program on either machine. Recipients see the text.
Quick repair failed to fix.
On-line failed to fix.
Safe-mode failed to fix.

Any thoughts on the resolve?

Crap, I have 3 calls on the same thing, notice you can copy and paste in word and you can see it.   Ctrl+A and Ctrl+V

Googling it it seems some users had Avast go toast, fix is here.

Dan... copy paste did not work for me. The text was seen on the other side, but not on my side.
Hu, other users had luck with this one.

Try this .....In Outlook Options - Advanced - Display - Uncheck "Disable Hardware Graphics Acceleration"
I tried changing the default font color to black... fail.

Thanks... time to chill and wait.
This guy Norman Moy posted this on the other one.

You can revert back to an older version and it works.

"C:\Program Files\Common Files\microsoft shared\ClickToRun\OfficeC2RClient.exe" /update user updatetoversion=16.0.13901.20462

Thank you all!
