Hi&nbsp;<br>&nbsp;<br>We have an HP Aruba 5406R Core Switch and we have 5 Modules, and each module has 8 Port.<br>Modules 1&amp;2 are 10Gb SFP modules.&nbsp;<br>Modules 3, 4, and 5 are RJ45 10 gig. <br><br>On Module 3 – Port-7 one of our ESX servers is connected.<br><br>On Module 4 - Port 1 is free and I would like to configure this Port 1 same as how it is configured for port 7 and putting it in the correct VLAN etc.<br><br>&nbsp;Please email me the commands to configure port 1 same as port 7.<br>&nbsp;<br>Thanks and any help will be great.<br>&nbsp;

How to configure a port on a HP core switch to join a VLAN

A switch is a device that filters and forwards packets of data between LAN segments. Switches operate at the data link layer or the network layer of the Open Systems Interconnection (OSI) Reference Model and therefore support any packet protocol.
