Looking for SMB Cloud NAS solutions

Small law firm client is looking for an SMB cloud NAS solution, so they can access shared data remotely instead of their network server. Cloud syncing programs like Dropbox will not work for a variety of reasons. We're currently looking at, and have a demo scheduled with, Buurst's SoftNAS, https://www.buurst.com/. Client has about 1TB of data which puts it outside the range of companies like Nasuni.

Would appreciate any suggestions.
Thank you!

There's no such thing as a cloud nas.. NAS is hardware. you could use google cloud drive
Robert

Many cloud storage solutions exist from most of the major vendors. (i.e. Microsoft, Amazon, google).
If you wanted a local NAS devices like synology are cheap and fairly solid devices. (however the data would still be onsite)
you can then use the built in filestation etc. in the Synology NAS to share the files and make them accessible remotely.

David, sounds like you either didn't fully read or understand my post. While the the term Cloud NAS sounds like a contradiction in terms, Buurst's SoftNAS acts exactly like shared file storage on a LAN. Disks & storage pools in SoftNAS are configured similarly to doing the same on a local NAS. Once data is uploaded to their NAS, one maps a drive. Thereafter the files and folders stored in the cloud appear as if they were locally stored. I just saw a live demo online, and we're going to proceed with setting up a live demo with my client.

Robert, client is looking to totally get away from local storage.

Thank you both for replying.
