If SFC /scannow &nbsp;fixes it, what does it say. You may have a look into the log fiel for further analysis.<br>Also see if you see something in the eventlogs. <br>Although you are talking about network, SFC is related to the local drive an if there are all the time errors, either there is an issue, what is not realy repairedor the hard disc makes trouble.<br><br>Is it only related to office or also other programs?<br><br><br>

i suggest a fresh install - BACKUP first !<br>it takes time - but it may be quicker in the end than trying to fix this.<br>and at least you'll know you have a good - fresh OS<br>don't forget to update all drivers also<br>you can post the pc model&nbsp; so we can point you to the download site

Have you checked for newer drivers?<br><br>But the affecxted user is connected directly to the network, I mean no VPN etc.<br>According to the offline sync....<br>Dependend from the amount of files to sync, I would temporary switch it off so see, if it is involved.<br>At least I remeber from older times, that I had issues, if complete, large folders are snyced. <br>The message can be produced just because of an timeout.&nbsp;&nbsp;

The server actions work perfectly 100% of the time for all programs except office. &nbsp;This issue only effects Office programs like Excel and Word (Which she doesn't use much). &nbsp;The business software which is the vast majority of work uses the 2019 server and works 100% of the time. &nbsp;Most of her files are on the 2019 server for Excel, but not all. &nbsp;

SFC fixes the issue, because it repairs files on the local PC. &nbsp;My gut says the SSD is the problem, but nothing in SMART to support that and Samsung Magician will not run diagnostics (Not supported drive for some reason). &nbsp;I did upgrade to the new version of Magician and same response. &nbsp;I am waiting for a response on why this 970 Pro drive from Lenovo is not supported for Magician.

No VPN involved, but does have the VPN software installed for Checkpoint. &nbsp;This happens when she works in the office. &nbsp;I don't know that she has taken it home to work on VPN recently. &nbsp;After the first occurrence, I updated the Checkpoint VPN software.

We are going to turn off Offline Cache and test for a couple of days. &nbsp;If that doesn't produce a solution, I was given approval to replace the SSD. &nbsp;A decision to try a clone image vs clean OS install won't be decided until after the Offline Cache trial.

After turning off Offline files everything works fine. &nbsp;A week has passed and everything is still working good. &nbsp;Before I close this discussion, does anyone want to add thoughts on the Always available offline Cache? &nbsp;The user will not be turning it back on.<br><br>

The cache for Offline files was corrupted and it will give such error.<br><br>If it's an Offline file issue, it can be fixed by these steps: <br><strong>Method one: use registry entry</strong><br>1. Open up registry editor (WARNING: Only for Advanced Users)<br>2. Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Csc<br>3. Add a new key (folder) called Parameters<br>4. Under HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\Csc\Parameters, add a new DWORD called FormatDatabase and set its value to 1<br>5. You will need to reboot the PC afterwards.<br><strong>Method two: clear the CSC folder</strong><br>1. Located to C:\Windows\CSC<br>2. To access this folder, you need to take ownership firstly.<br>3. Right-click CSC folder that you want to take ownership of, and then click Properties.<br>4. Click the Security tab, click Advanced, and then click the Owner tab.<br>5. Click Edit. If you are prompted for an administrator password or confirmation, type the password or provide confirmation.<br>6. Click the name of the person you want to give ownership to.<br>7.
