Need script that will check windows server updates and send updates through email address (smtp) to group as recipent

I am wondering if I can have script that will check windows server updates and send it through smtp configured email through intervals of time to group email as notifications
I am not using wsus but we can use it with some modification or script that will do that

As each server may have hundrest of updates, I just wonder how much time it takes to analyse them.
