Hello...
I am trying to change the passwords of several users in my Windows Server 2019 domain.
I'm sure I have done this before without issue, but its not working today.
Here is what I am doing:
I remote into the server using an account with admin privileges
Open Active Directory User and Computers
Right Click on users
Click Reset password
enter the new password twice
click ok
I get a message that the password has been changed
click ok
close remote session
When I attempt to log in as user using the new password I get the message: the user name or password is not correct
I've tried rebooting the server as well as the workstation to no avail.
Any ideas?
