Cisco WLC 5508 with mixed regulatory domain APs

I have a Cisco 5508 WLC and a mixture of Cisco CAP1602I-A-K9 and CAP1602I-B-K9 APs. We are running the latest firmware on the WLC that works with these older APs. I read that having a controller having a regulatory domain different from the attached APs could cause issues. I have seen some intermittent problems with broadcasts not showing and being unable to log onto our system at times. I was wondering if the mixture of APs might be creating an issue. Will having a mixture of create any issues?
