asked on Cisco WLC 5508 with both CAP1602 & CAP3702 APs
We have a Cisco WLC 5508. We are currently using CAP1602 APs. I need to add a few more and am considering using CAP3702 APs. Are these devices compatible on the same controller?

I am running 8.5.161.0. I was told the lastest software would not work with the 1602 APs. This was the latest I could find that will worked with them. Is that information wrong?
When you were told the latest software wouldn't work with them, that was correct. However, the latest software is v8.10.
You're able to run any minor version of v8.5 code and still support the 1602 APs, so 8.5.171.0 will still work with them.
