Hi,<br>you can have only one public folder database on an Exchange server.<br>So you need to have a second server, and create there a new public database.<br>Note that public folders can be replicated to this new database,<br>You could also imagine sharing existing folders on the two databases, to have 1,25 TB on each, for exemple.<br>It can be more complicated if the 2 servers are in DAG.<br><br>Regards

Which Exchange version you are talking about?<br>With Exchange 2016, you do not have special PF databases rather than Public Folder Mailboxes which can reside in any DB. <br><br>The parameter -PublicFolderDatabase is a GUID type, which points to an associated public folder database.<br>You may inspect your existing mailboxdatabase used for public folders, if you have an association there.&nbsp;&nbsp;

As I said, there are no dedicated PF databases anymore, They have a dedicated mailbox folder. <br>So you can add a normal exchange database and create a secondary mailbox folder on it.&nbsp;

Hi,<br>The public folder databases are named "legacy". So the command you found is not adapted to Exchange 2016.<br><br>Now, you should read documentation about "Modern Public folders" that should be distributed in a lot of "public folder mailboxes". Microsoft does not advice to put all the "public folder mailboxes" on only one Mailbox database.<br><br>The primary public folder mailbox should be reserved to manage the hierarchy of folders.<br>A second public folder mailbox should be defined to replicate this data.<br>Other public folder mailboxes can be dedicated to data/folders.<br><br>Regards,
