WSUS has a set of built in reports...But the reports as well as the views in WSUS are mainly built on SQL reporting services. As they directly fetch the data from the database, I would not assume (but also not exclude), that this is implemented into power shell.&nbsp;

As I said, it is an assumption. Nevertheless, as even the WSUS GUI is not the fastest one, an option maybe just to use queries directly on SQL to fetch the data together.&nbsp;

So, had a look into the databse...<br>You have a file table with all the update files including size.<br>You have a list with updates and when they are synced form Microsoft.<br>You have a computertarget table with all the computers and their status<br>You have a status about the updates (needed failed etc.)<br>What you don't have, an information when an update is installed on a computer. <br><br>So WSUS offers updates and keep the sync status of te clients.<br>The client takes the list and offers updates (on the client)<br>The client updates the statistical data on WSUS<br>So WSUS stores if an update may be needed or not even from which machines.<br>But WSUS doesn't store, if an update is really, installed and when it is installed.<br>So no client history.<br><br>The calculation is done by the client.<br><br>So,you may be capable so say something about the sizes on the server and the sync times.<br>So you would be able to get a report, how mayn bytes are downloaded per interval. <br><br>As there is no client history, you can estimate the size of the files, which are marked as needed.<br>But you can not report, how many bytes are installed by the clients and especially when. <br>Even you cannot say, if an update is really installed or if it just disappears, because another update was installed.<br>So the view on the WSUS data is just an actual shapshot about, what the clients reported.<br><br><br>

How to Get updates info in WSUS using powershell

Windows PowerShell is a task automation and configuration management framework from Microsoft, consisting of a command-line shell and associated scripting language built on the .NET Framework. PowerShell provides full access to the Component Object Model (COM) and Windows Management Instrumentation (WMI), enabling administrators to perform administrative tasks on both local and remote Windows systems as well as WS-Management and Common Information Model (CIM) enabling management of remote Linux systems and network devices.
