Chrome keeps crashing on google pixel phone.

I have an odd situation here. chrome browser keeps crashing on my google phone. I don't remember when it started, but i have a feeling it was after one of forced updates. I thought about the basic remove and reinstall troubleshooting technique, but I learned that the app can't be removed. I don't have any plugin or extension. Any ideas?
