Replacing FTP
We're a small business running several windows 2019 servers. We host are own FTP site which we publish a read only version of one of our shares for contractors outside our network. Now that FTP no longer working with Chrome, Firefox, Edge and IE going away next year; it seems it is time to replace FTP. Is there something else I could setup via IIS that would work in a similar matter?

What about using Google Drive, Dropbox or OneDrive? That would be so much easier in many ways.
Or you can put a simple PHP or .NET page up that has a file upload form with a button and goes to your server. Doing this exposes your own server though.
Back to using the drive suggestions, these are things most everybody uses on a regular basis. We have them integrated to both desktop and mobile devices.
If you want to stick with your own server, I said put up a simple PHP page, but as you go down that road, it can be more complex especially if you want to add a password or know who is uploading what. You can install a vaniall Wordpress site and use a plug in like https://wordpress.org/plugins/wp-file-upload/ or https://wordpress.org/plugins/drag-and-drop-multiple-file-upload-contact-form-7/ I just don't like the idea of exposing an internal server. There are people that have nothing better to do than find holes or overload traffic. You can get good, secure hosting for $10 to $30 per month. That is another battle of what is best, but they are out there.
