Windows 10 game from Windows store

hi,

just face a straight issue that one of family account on a laptop can't buy a game.

that family account buy a game from Windows store and need approval from me, then I approve in email, but the game install button on the game screen in the store was not changed to install.

I can do this however, by using my own account BUT can only install under my account, but that family account can't even see the game in start menu.

so how can I make sure that the family account can install and run the game under his account.

Sign-in to your Microsoft account and click the above link and add money to your family member who wants to purchase game.

Finally, there are games with age restriction of 12+ and if the age of your kid is not 13 or above, the game install button will be greyed out.

Jackie Man ,

and the add money is the bill my credit card?

and the point is, I order by my CC and I can install that game, but I refund it after that as I know there are problems and MS refund me few hours later.

and now using the family member account  AGAIN to order, and email should send to me but it now say this is approved before, but this time STILL NO install button.

Good question!

If the default payment of your Microsoft Account is your credit card, when you add money to your kid's Microsoft Account, the payment will be billed to your credit card.

There will be an install button only if you have a credit balance in the Microsoft Account or a credit card linked to your Microsoft Account.

Of course, there will be no credit card linked to your kid's Microsoft Account.

In order to have a credit balance, you should add money to your kid's Microsoft Account via your credit card.

Correct.

Your kid need to have Credit balance or linked Credit card in Payment option of his or her own Microsoft Account for purchase of games (Free games or apps excepted).

The answer is no. I have browsed through the Microsoft websites for more than 30 minutes and I learn that you can share app in the same PC but the link to the app is still your Microsoft Account, not the Microsoft Account of your kid.

share means the icon will be on the target profile start menu ?

Yes. But it is a kind of hack provided you and your kid are using the same computer.

However, there is a problem. Your kid is actually accessing the game app under your Microsoft Account.

I do not have time to personally try the hack.
